Seventeen of us hiked the Browns Tract Road and Okara Lakes Road. Weather was fantastic!
Browns Tract was a difficult, wet , muddy trail in spots. Most hiked 4.5 miles, seven of us, including 3 old farts and 1 old fartessa, bushwhacked the additional mile to the summit of the unnamed mountain for some outstanding views in the sunshine.

We took the shorter, steeper bushwhack down the mountain.

Eleven ventured out today to the Silver Lake Wilderness instead of getting ready for Easter Sunday.  We hiked part of the Northville Placid Trail with a destination of Priests Vly for lunch.  Along the way, we had to traverse the effects of a massive beaver dam that slowed down the group, the logs that we crossed the water on were wet and slick.  The experience of the group kept everyone out of the drink.  The rain, for the most part held off for the 5.8 mile hike which made it a great day.

Fourteen of us hiked up a seasonal road to the trails at Fetterley Forest Preserve. The trail was very wet and somewhat muddy. We got a view of  Canadarago Lake  through the mist from the overlook. We didn’t take a lunch break as a result of the rainy weather.
