What do you do outside on a cold, wet, damp November day? You go slogging 5.75 miles on a muddy, wet, rock and leaf-cluttered trail in the Adirondacks. And after getting soaking wet and returning to the warmth of your car, you say  “glad I did that hike.”  I got some good exercise whereas I would have been sitting on my couch all day.

Now for some beer. Walt kicked the keg at Kratzy’s and got a gift from our favorite bartender. Besides the hug he got a fiddlehead T shirt. Some guys have all the luck. Thanks to Sharon and Mandi for a nice hike in spite of the weather and trail conditions.
