Fourteen Tramps hiked 6 miles around and to Moe Pond, a SUNY Oneonta Biological Field Station property outside of Cooperstown.

In addition to the pond, the hike included a hazy view of Otsego Lake and a beaver pond. The day was cool and cloudy but the rain held off and the trail was good.  Biological Station students and staff constantly monitor the pond and its watershed as part of the Graduate studies program and to propose mitigation of environmental and human stresses on lakes and bodies of water. The site is closed to the public and we appreciate SUNY Oneonta for allowing Tramp n Trail to hike its trails.
