Weather today was great if you were a duck, a duck that liked thunder and lightning. Actually it started out not bad but then the thunder started and we had to make a decision whether we continue or go back. We went back but could not outrun the rain, thunder and lightning. Running across open fields with metal poles in my hands  is not my choice activity.I realized that if given enough motivation I could still run. Not fast and not pretty but effective. 3.75mile  hike and run dodging lightning bolts. Thanks to the Foggs, George, Phyllis and Rebecca for an exhilarating morning.
